Description
Department of the Army, Defense Contracting Command-Washington, 5200 Army Pentagon, Washington, D.C. 20310-5200 intends to award a single source contract (IAW FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source) to Robert Strahler c/o 3809 Courtland Circle, Ale xandria, VA 22305, for a follow-on contract entitled Optimizing the U.S. Army Marketing Strategy Process  Marketing Director. The U.S. Army requires the services of a Marketing Director (MD) to support the Armys Brand Group to assist and advise the Chief Marketing Officer and senior civilian and military leaders in strengthing and improving its marketing strategy, continue the positive recruiting momentum, and to strengthen the Armys connection with the American public. The contractor shall provide exper tise in support of the US Army's advertising marketing and advertising initiative by providing services involving the collaboration on copy strategy development and copy execution of marketing and advertising strategy for the US Army (as well as coordinati ng the efforts of the U.S. Armys Brand Group). The contractor shall assist in specific marketing objectives agreed upon with the CMO, including refinements to Army offers, new influence objectives; the communications mix, required funding and learning ag endas; convert overall strategy into an advertising and media strategy, establishing the character, benefits and support, and media guidelines that will direct copy development. The period of performance of this contract will be for four months as the Army prepares and conducts the recompete of this position. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This announcement is for informational purposes only. See Note 22.
