Description

This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items, Item Description: 0001) 2 each of New Rugged Terrain Vehicle (RTV); RTV-PWLR-02 or equal 0002) 15 each ESS Profile NVG Goggle; EP-01DE Desert Tan or equal 0003) 4 each of RTV Re-inforced Rims; Front or equal 0004) 4 each of RTV Re-inforced Rims; Back or equal 0005) 4 each of RTV M4/M16 Weapons Mount or equal 0006) 4 each of RTV Side Back Rest or equal 0007) 1 each of RTV Special Operations Trailer #1 or equal. Quotes must be valid for 60 days after solicitation issue date. Award is subject to the availability of funds. * Please include shipping to Tracy, CA in with the unit price * This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ FA5270-04-M-S167. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-16 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. North American Industrial Classification Standard 423110 , Size Standard, 500 employees, applies to this procurement. FOB: Destination for delivery to Unit 5153 Box 10, Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan 96368.The following provisions and clause apply to this acquisition: FAR 52-211-6 Brand Name or Equal. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Quotes will be evaluated on price related factors only. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-42, Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires 52.222-48.
