- This is a presolicitation for a requirement on Sheppard AFB. Currently the requirement is unfunded, but could become funded.</p> A site visit is scheduled for 1100 on Monday, 30 August 04. Bidders/offerors should be at the Sheppard AFB Entry Control Center with drivers license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance at this time and date. From there they will be escorted to view the work site and present pertinent questions. Bidders/offerors are encouraged to visit the site and take such other steps as may be reasonably necessary to ascertain the nature and location of work and the general and local conditions that can affect the work or cost thereof. Failure to do so will not relieve bidders/offerors from the responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work. The government will assume no responsibility for any understanding or representation concerning conditions made by any of its officers or agents prior to the execution of the contract, unless included in the invitation for bids/request for proposals, the specification, or related documents.</p> The requirement is for the following commercial items:</p> 0001- 29" Flat Panel Monitor w/wallmount. Infocus Corportion model TD 30 or like item. 1280 X 768 resoluton (WXGA); 29.6"/75.2 cm diagonal TFT active Matrix; 450 Nits brightness; 350:1 contrast ratio; 170" viewing angle' PC connectivity: DVI-D, BGA; Video connectivity: S-Video, composite, (x2) and component (x2); Control: 9=pin DSUB; built in NTSC TV tuner; 2 X 5-watt stereo speakers; Signal compatibility: VGA, SAGA; Operating temperture" 5-30 degrees C, 41-86 degrees F; power consumption: 170 watts (Max); Backlight: 50,000 hours minimum life; Picture-in-Picture; Color 16.7 million colors/24 bitsProduct Warranty: 1-year limited, parts and labor coverage </p> 0002- Matrix Switching Sytem. GE Industrial, DigiPlex IV or like item. KTD-440 Master Switcher Chassis, a cross-mapped switcher with 64 video inputs and 32 monitor outputs. Can increase capacity to 512 video inputs and a monitor expansion chassis to 64 monitor outputs. Takes up 28 units of rack space </p> 0003- Camera Power Supplies: 4 amp 16 fused power supply for 16 cameras, Specifications: Input voltage 110 V AC; Output voltage: 24 V AC; Smart Puse Rating AC Models 1.85 A; Can Dimensions: 16 Cameral Models 11 1/2X11 1/4 X 3 1/2 inches. CoStar lenses model number CLS 338OD or like item. Varifocal (manually adjustable focal length), auto and fixed focus configurations. Auto iris lenses are used primarily externally where there are variation in lighting levels. The indoor and outdoor camera recording system to include all components will be professionally installed. All labor, and required wiring is included. Any outside cameras will be installed using wire molding. The installation of the recording system will also include all necessary programming, testing, project management and staff training in order for the system to run efficiently and for its intended purpose. All staff questions and inquiries that come about in regards to training should be resolved within 24 hours.</p> FOB: Destination for delivery to Child Development Center, Sheppard AFB TX 76311</p> This presolicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
