- The Air Combat Command Contracting Squadron at Langley AFB, VA intends to award a sole source contract to Cowart Electric 4309 N. Valdosta Road Valdosta, GA 31602, U.S.A. The associated North American Industry Classification System Code is 235310, however the RFQ is unrestricted. All specifications must be meet. ACC Contracting Squadron, LAFB, VA, has a requirement for power distribution kits. Narrative description: 1 Ea. CG03-01A, an adapter cord approximately 36? long with a 14-30P plug on one end, a #10 AWG, 4 conductor, black end, insulated cord approximately 36? long and a L1430C connector on the opposite end. 1 Ea. CGO3-01B, #10 AWG, 4 conductor, black, 50 type cord 100 ft long with a L1430P plug on one end and a L1430C connector on the opposite end. This cord shall be labeled with the part number. 1 Ea CG03-01Buk, #10 AWG, 4 conductor, black, 50 type cord 25ft long with a L1430C connector one end and a 30 United Kingdom plug on the opposite end. 1 Ea CG03-01 Nema 12-6x8x4 enclosure painted desert sand with (4) 13A UK receptacles with a weatherproof cover over each receptacle. There shall be an adapter cord of #10 AWG, 4 conductor, black approximately 10? long with a 14-30P plug on the end. A Kellem type cord grip shall be installed where the cord enters the enclosure. Inside the enclosure a terminal strip shall be installed for the connections between the 10-4 cord and the tails from the receptacles. 1 Ea. CG03-01F, Remote Power Distribution Panel. The face of this panel shall consist of (1) 14-30R protected by a 30 Amp, 2 pole breaker, (1) L5-30R protected by a push to reset 30 Amp breaker, (2) duplex GFCI 120 volt receptacles protected by a push to reset 20 Amp breaker each, a voltage meter, and a hour meter. The rear of this remote panel shall have a L14-30 recessed male receptacle mounted in a weatherproof cover. All the above shall be installed in a 15x15x6 Nema 3R enclosure using (4) ?? isolation type mounts. The 3R cover shall be hinge mounted to lift up when it is in use. When closed, this cover shall be secured with a hasp on each side. The entire panel after being constructed shall have a 1?spuare tubing frame having (2) uprights extending 2? above the 3R enclosure. There shall be a 16? square attached at the base and the 3R enclosure shall have approximately 3? clear between the bottom and the base able to stand on its own in the harshest weather conditions.. The entire enclosure and frame shall be painted subdued desert sand color. The 1 inch squire tubing must be left open on the bottom of the unit for higher ground posting. There must be a grounding port with 3?ft of copper grounding wire attached on the rear of the panel for proper grounding of the panel. 2 Ea. CG03-01G, 14 AWG, 3 conductor, black 100? cord with a fused 13A United Kingdom plug on one end and a 13A United Kingdom connector body on the other end. This shall be labeled with the part number. 2 Ea. CG03-01G1, same as CG03-01G except 50 ft long. 2 ea CG03-0H 12Aw, 3 conductor, black 100 ft cord with a nylon 120 volt cord cap on one end and a nylon 120 volt connector body on the other end. This shall be labeled with the part number. 2 Ea. CG03-01H1, same as CG03-01H except it is 50 ft long. 1 ea CG03-01C2 L5-20 amp 125 volt twist lock male plug on one end and duplex, 100? black cord GFCI 110 volt receptacles on opposite end. 1 Ea CG03-01C1, same as CG03-01C2 except 50 ft long. 2 Ea CG03-01CPS (6) 110 volt receptacle surge protected power strip. Shipping. Delivery shall be FOB destination to 15 Air Force sites and must be delivered by 30 Sep 05. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This will be a firm fixed price contract. If there are any other businesses that can provide the specified items, they must respond to this notice before 1400 hours 27 August 2004. Offerors responding to this notice must provide proof that their equipment will meet the requirements stated herein. Information must be submitted to the Contracting Officer and at a minimum include equipment brochures, company literature, and documented validation of their system demonstrating that it can meet the Air Forces? objective of standardization. Also include a list of at least three organizations currently using the suggested equipment. If no responses are received by the above date, a sole source procurement with Cowart Electric will be pursued. The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information.
