- Description
- Shaw AFB is planning to issue a construction solicitation to Repair/Replace Carpet and Floor Tile in Base Dorms and Facilities. From this solicitation a firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) construction contract is to be awarded on a ?best value? basis. The performance period for this contract is expected to include a one-year base period with a one-year option. The estimated contract magnitude for this acquisition is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The minimum amount of work guaranteed for award over the life of this contract is $30,000. The proposed procurement is set-aside strictly for 8(a) concerns certified through the SBA. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 238330. The estimated date for issue of the solicitation is on or about 04 Aug 2004. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 & 252.232-7009. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet or by calling 1-888-227-2423. Registration must be obtained prior to award. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed. The solicitation will be available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) at www.eps.gov. Offerors must register on the site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation.
