Description

Sole Source Procurement. VA Palo Alto Health Care System has a need to replace a YAG laser used by Surgical Service, Ophthalmology. This action will be accomplished by the Consolidated Contracting Activity (CCA 90), VISN 21, located at the Palo Alto Facility. Summary of Requirements: NX Equipment: 1 YAG Photodisruptor, Ultra Q, ND, Laserex Laser Delivery Slit Lamp with Leica/CSO type optics, adjustable energy (0.3 ? 12.0 mJs), low energy Ultra Q technology, dual red diode aiming beam, 2-3 pulse burse mode, variable YAG Offset (adjustable ? zero to 250 microns posterior), patient hang grips, 90-120 VAC, 50/60 HZ, power requirement ? 400VA. Includes wheelchair accessible table. All indications are that this item is available only on a sole-source basis, therefore the Government intends to procure under these procedures.
