Description
Description: This is a 100% set-aside procurement for service disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, 1201 N.W. 16th Street., Miami, Florida has a requirement for Valet Parking Services to alleviate the severe parking problems experienced at this facility. The NAICS code is 812930 and size standard is $ 6.0 mil. Definitions as used in clause 52.219-27 Notice of Total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside: "Service disabled veteran-owned small business concern" - (1) Means a small business concern not less than 51 percent of which is owned by one or more service-disabled veterans or, in the case of any publicly owned business, not less than 51 percent of the stock of which is owned by one or more service disabled veterans; and The management and daily business operations of which are controlled by one or more service disabled veterans or; in the case of a service-disabled veteran with permanent and severe disability, the spouse or permanent caregiver of such veteran. (2) Service disabled veteran means a veteran as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(2), with a disability that is service connected, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(16). Electronic solicitation may be downloaded on http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/cgi-bin/WebObjects/BosPublic.woa. The offeror is responsible to download all amendments and other documents from the BOS website without further notices from the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, Miami, Florida. The term of this contract will be base year from date of award, with one (1) year option to renew at the discretion of the Government. Proposals shall be submitted by September 7, 2004 at 4:00 p.m.
