Description

Under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, the James E. Vanzandt VA Medical Center, Altoona, PA intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Philips Medical Systems to obtain a maintenance agreement plan for Ultrasound SONOS5520 to include parts, service, PMs and telephone support and have complete access to manufacturers' service manuals and parts inventory.Anyone wishing to respond to this notice MUST show clear and convincing evidence that they can meet these requirements.Interested parties have fourteen (14) calendar days from publication of this synopsis to submit in writing their qualifications and capabilities. Such qualifications and capabilities will be used SOLEY for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses may be faxed to the Contracting Officer at (814)942-9253. Telephone requests will NOT be accepted. Period of performance will be one year from award plus 4 one year options to renew.Email inquiries will be accepted at Jean.Gelbke@med.va.gov.
