Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items or services IAW with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) No. D3924004. The solicitation clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The NAICS Code is 541850. The FDA intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Viacom Outdoor, Suite 1200, 1625 K Street, NW, Washington, DC 20006. The contractor shall provide postings for print Public Service Announcements (PSA?s) in malls, metro trains and bus taillight displays in selected areas in DC, MD, VA, IL, FL and MN. FDA will provide the appropriate sizes for each of the three (3) different postings for printing and distribution. Specifications: 75 Taillight displays to appear on the back of Washington, DC metro buses from September 1, 2004 through November 30, 2004, Displays measure 21? high by 72? wide. 175 Metro Rail Cards to appear in the Metro Rail System in Washington DC from September 1, 2004 through November 30, 2004. Displays measure 22? high by 21? wide. 94 Mall Displays measuring 50? high by 40? wide to be displayed September 1, 2004 through November 30, 2004. Displays measure 50? high by 40? wide. The FDA intends to make an award immediately following this notice. The following FAR clauses shall apply to the solicitation: 52.212 Instructions of Offerors-Commercial; 52.214-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and 52.232-33 Electronic Funds Transfers. All responsible sources that can provide and meet the above requirements shall submit written quotations by the due date referenced above.
