- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a proposal is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation SP4700-04-R-0027 is a Request for Proposal (RFP). This requirement is a sole source requirement to PRIME RECOGNITION. The Government has a need for PrimeOCR software support for color images, input of PDF files, output of PDF files, support of dual-processor system, PrimeZone (reduces DPI to 300), engineering of PrimeZone to move and delete files after processing, and an annual maintenance program. The software was developed and manufactured by PrimeRecognition. Each software item in the PrimeRecognition bundle has attached to it trade secrets and copyright information proprietary to PrimeRecognition. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Acquisition of Commercial Items; (FAC 24) 19 July 2004. Associated NAICS code is 511210, size standard is $21,000,000.00. The contract line items are CLIN 0001, PrimeOCR Base Configuration v3.90, part number OCR-NT-3, quantity 4 each; CLIN 0002, Support for color images, part number OCR-COLOR, quantity 4 each; CLIN 0003, PDF Input, part number OCR-PDFIN, quantity 4 each; CLIN 0004, PDF Output, part number OCR-PDF, quantity 4 each; CLIN 0005, Support for multi-processor (one additional processor), part number OCR-MP, quantity 4 each; CLIN 0006, PrimeZone, part number PR-ZONE, quantity 4 each; CLIN 0007, Prime-Zone custom changes ? engineering time, quantity 1 lot.
