- Description
- Subject to final approval, FinCEN, through the Department of Treasury, Bureau of the Public Debt, intends to issue on a sole-source basis, a simplified acquisition for a subscription to World-Check Online Service web database. The unique quality of the World-Check product is proprietary. World-Check Online Service offers extensive subject, organizational, and /or geographic information that is required by FinCEN. World Check?s consolidation and structuring of information enables the automatic screening of an unlimited number of names/SARs, which cannot be achieved through traditional research services. World-Check?s source coverage extends to over 140,000 sources, many of which are sources FinCEN has to individually access. World-Check?s coverage is international, and its research team is multi-lingual, which is a particular need of FinCEN?s. World-Check database is built entirely from public, online sources. World-Check is the only research service vendor that has established and had certified that there are no logs generated on user activity. World-Check is a proprietary system that is compatible and complies with FinCEN and US Treasury?s strict security and computer regulations. No solicitation document is available. Public Debt will consider all affirmative responses received no later than 2:00 p.m., EDT on September 2, 2004. Affirmative responses shall be accompanied by sufficient documentation to clearly show the ability to provide the required item or functional equivalent at terms more advantageous to the Government. Request for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered affirmative responses. If no affirmative response is received that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all requirements and that it is more advantageous to the Government, we will make a sole-source award to World-Check.
