Description
The Air National Guard (ANG) requires a tactical transportable communications training capability to provide a highly mobile, ruggedized, compact and easily assessable Information Technology (IT) network support suite enabling Secure Internet Protoco l Router (SIPR) network, and Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router (NIPR) network connectivity, telephone voice access to the Defense Switched Network (DSN), Commercial, and Secure capabilities, and the ability to enable collaborative tools such as Video Tel econferencing (VTC). It must be capable of interfacing with the Defense Satellite Communications Systems and Commercial Satellites for entry into the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Network. This equipment will be used to support the Chief Nati onal Guard Bureau, Army Guard Directorate, Air Guard Directorate, National Guard Bureau Joint Staff and other members of the senior leadership group in the event of a National Security Emergency or local event that significantly disrupts normal operations. Included in the requirement are two (2) five (5) day training sessions to be conducted simultaneously at two (2) separate locations with a minimum of twenty-five (25) individuals for each session. It should be noted that the requirement is for two (2) com plete units. The acquisition will be issued as UNRESTRICTED basis therefore all interested vendors are requested to submit a proposal. The proposal due date shall be 29 Sep 04. Contract award will be made on a Best Value basis. Evaluation factors, in o rder of precedence are (1) Technical, (2) Past Performance and (3) Price. A detailed description of the evaluation factors will be included in the solicitation. THIS REQUIREMENT IS FOR SYSTEMS THAT ARE ALREADY DEVELOPED AND MANFACTURED. Systems shall be readily available and deliverable within thirty (30) calendar days after award. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be a firm fixed price. The National Guard Bureau (NGB) anticipates the issuance of the Request for Proposal on or about 30 Au g 04. The NAICS Code applicable to this solicitation is 517410.
