Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has released Request for Proposal (RFP), N00019-04-R-0083, a Full and Open Competition under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code Number 488190 for commercial air services for passenger transport and fleet training including electronic warfare, air intercept control, and target tow. General Information: The place of performance is Naval Air Station (NAS) Naples Capodichino Airport in Naples, Italy. The contractor will operate under FAA Part 135 and must be certified by the Air Mobility Command for passenger transport in the Mediterranean area. The planes must be equipped in accordance with the FAA/CAA requirements for flying within European air space. The Government intends to award an Indefinite Delivery with Indefinite Quantity and Cost Reimbursable line items for a one-year base and four twelve month options. NAVAIR released a draft RFP identifying the subject requirements on the 20th of July and solicited comments and questions. The Government reviewed and considered all comments and questions received and as a result some elements were incorporated into the RFP. The formal solicitation is located on the NAVAIR web site http://www.navair.navy.mil/business/business.cfm entitled N00019-04-R-0083. The proposal due date is 15 September 2004, at the time and place identified under the SF 33. There are no commitments by the government to make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. No hard copies of the solicitation or amendments will be provided.
