Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 ? Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-22. This is a 100% set-aside for small business procurement. The North American Industrial Classification is 334220. The size standard is 750 employees. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Employee Education System intends to procure the following: PowerVu Plus Advanced Encoder, Model: D9120; Qty: 1 Each; Responses shall be in writing and can be mailed to the attention of the contracting officer or faxed to 512/326-6028. This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as they were given in full text. The following provisions and clauses shall apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items; FAR 52-216-1 Type of Contract ? The Government contemplates award of a firm fix price single award contract resulting from this solicitation; 52-212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items; All offerors will be required to provide a completed copy of the provision FAR 52-212-3 Offeror Representations and Notifications-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items with addendum:FAR 52-219-6 Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside, and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order-Commercial Items.
