Description

The Defense Distribution Center, New Cumberland, PA has a requirement to deliver dry ice, in 55 lb blocks, cut in half, wrapped in brown paper bags. Contractor to supply containers large enough for amount requested minimum of 1500 lb per order, with covers large enough for amount requested. Delivery will be on Monday or Tuesday, unless otherwise specified. Delivery is to Defense Distribution Depot Susquehanna, DDSP-KA North East Area, Control Branch, Bldg 12, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Estimated usage is 70,000 lbs per year. Base Year - Period of Performance - 1 October 2004 through 30 September 2005 and Option Year I ? Period of Performance 1 October 2005 through 30 September 2006. This notice constitutes a combined synopsis/solicitation in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information herein. The acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 424690 and the size standard to meet the set-aside required is 500 Employees. A written solicitation will NOT be issued. This notice constitutes the only solicitation document. This notice incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26.
