Description

Description: The National Park Service intends to issue a Prospectus for a Concession Contract for lodging, food and beverage, retail, camping, and other visitor services within Yellowstone National Park on or about September 1, 2004. The contract will offer commercial services at six locations within the park (Mammoth, Grant Village, Lake, Roosevelt, Canyon and Old Faithful). The Director, pursuant to 36 CFR Part 51, has determined that the existing concessioner is not a preferred Offeror for this contract. One contract will be issued for the above-listed services. Prospective Bidders should monitor this site for the exact date of issuance. The National Park Service has tentatively planned a site visit for September 23 and 24, 2004, at the locations listed above. Contact Sue Williams, Business Management Office at (307) 344-2271 in Yellowstone for the schedule of this visit. The National Park Service will not maintain a mailing list for potential bidders, nor will it accept requests for prospectuses prior to formal issuance of the prospectus. Prospectus packages will be available on the September issuance date by contacting Judy Jennings, Chief, Business Resources Division, National Park Service, Intermountain Regional Office, P. O.
