Description

The Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation plans to purchase up to 480 linear feet of 12 inch x 12 inch (30.48 cm x 30.48 cm) composite rubber/ultra high molecular weight polyethylene marine fenders with galvanized steel mounting brackets. These fenders shall be manufactured such that there is approximately 1 inch of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene bonded to the rubber to create the 12 inch x 12 inch (30.48 cm x 30.48 cm) cross-section. The solicitation will be released on or about August 25, 2004 and delivery will be required by January 1, 2005. The cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bid opening is tentatively scheduled for 2:00 pm, September 24, 2004. The bid package may be requested by mail to P.O. Box 520, 180 Andrews Street, Massena, New York 13662.-0520.
