Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for conference services for the Federal Information Systems Security Educators Annual Conference,in Gaithersburg, Maryland March 22-23, 2004 through Competitive procedures, it has been determined that Host Marriott LP is the only vendor available on the dates required, in the location needed, with the required space available. The Government shall award a fixed-price purchase order to the Host Marriott for meeting space, food services and audiovisual equipment for 260 attendees, This procurement is authorized by Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procurements. The procurement document and incorporated provision are those in effect through FAR Circular 01-24. FAR 52.212-4, Contracts Terms and Conditions - Commerical Items, FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items are applicable to this acquistion. This is not a request for quotations; a solicitation package is not available.
