Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a requirement for the services of a qualified contractor to perform preventive maintenance on our Perm Alert, Pal-At Water Detection System at SSA?s National Computer Center (NCC) located at 6201 Security Boulevard, Baltimore, MD. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supervision, and engineering to repair and maintain our under floor water detection system, and its associated equipment. A tentative site visit is scheduled for August 24, 2004 at 10:00AM. Confirmation of attendance to Site Visit with your name, company?s name, vehicle make, model, license number and state is required (please, only one company representative). If you plan on attending, you must submit your confirmation by 12:00 PM, EST, 08/20/04 either by email to: Rick.Bolt@ssa.gov; or via fax to: 410-966-0627, Attn: Rick Bolt. The period of performance shall be for a one year base period with four 1-year options. The proposed method of acquisition considered is a small business set-aside. Solicitation SSA-RFQ-04-0633 will be available on the website on or about August 17, 2004. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.3, Simplified Acquisition Methods.
