- Description
- The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Lake Berryessa, has a requirement for solid waste removal. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to collect and dispose of all solid waste. Excluded from this function is the collection and disposal of 1. hazardous wastes, 2. solids or dissolved materials in domestic sewage, 3. other pollutants in water resources such as silt and dissolved or suspended solids, and 4. infectious wastes. The Government will provide bins (18) at designated locations. Services shall be performed in accordance with Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976 (RCRA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 as amended (CERCLA) - "Superfund". Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA). Hazardous Materials Transportation Act 1974 (HMTA). Effective October 1, 2003, prospective vendors must be registered in the CCR database, http://www.ccr.gov prior to award of contract. Failure to register in CCR will make an offeror ineligible for award. Solicitation 05SQ240040 will be posted at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 23, 2004 quotes due on or before September 22, 2004.
