- Description
- 11th Contracting Squadron/LGCN, Bolling AFB DC, intends to award a Fixed Price Contract to conduct research projects to support the personnel strategic plan and human capital management initiative articulated by Air Force Directorate of Personnel (AF/DP). This work supports the strategic goals that AF/DP has identified in a Personnel Strategic Plan that will enable the Air Force to plan for the strategic management of human capital. These strategic goals include Define, Renew, Develop, Sustain, Synchronize and Deliver. The Personnel Strategic Plan reflects the imperative to transform the current personnel system into one that is more agile and responsive to changing requirements while efficiently serving all Air Force people. To achieve a more responsive personnel system, the strategic goals referenced above were developed based on a transformed view of the Personnel life cycle, one that moves away from the more traditional, linear view to a dynamic, effects-based view, a Personnel Continuum. The proposal due date is 19 August 2004. Award will be made on or about 15 September 2004. This acquisition will be Fixed Price. The NAICS code assigned to this requirement is 541612, Size Standard $6.0 M. The period of performance for the base year of this contract is 15 September 2004 through 14 September 2005, followed by 1 option period. This is a FY 2004 requirement. The option period is subject to the availability of funds in accordance with FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds, (Apr 1984). No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Please contact John D.
