- Description
- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound intends to procure NSN 8010-01-210-7813 and 8010-01-211-4815 in accordance with Military Specifications MIL-PRF-24647C dated Sept 24, 2001. QPL 24647-6, dated April 14, 2000 approved Type I, Class 1A, Grade A, Application 1 and 2, ABC # 3 BLACK and ABC #3 Red supplied in 5 gallon containers. Paint systems having a red color antifouling for underwater hull, with a service life of 5 years. Paint systems having a black color antifouling for underwater hull, with a service life of 5 years. FOB Destination: PSNS Bremertonn WA 98314. Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued by 6 August 04. The closing date of the solicitation is anticipated to be 20 Aug 2004. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12 commercial acquisition procedures utilizing LPTA (low priced technically acceptable) evaluation of offers. When issued, the RFQ will be electronically posted via the NECO website at www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to may.carkeek@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ/amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitted quotes must: 1) complete the pricing, 2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation, 3) provide manufacturer information of proposed items, and 4) ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov).
