Description

The item to procure is an Pintle Mount Assembly, (NSN: 1005-00-945-9756) (Part Number 11010408) End Item is M122 Tripod. Parts include a Pintle Body, Latch, Pin, Spring and are machined from steel, 4340, investment castings or forgings, heat treate d, phosphate coating applied and is approximate 6 in x 2.62 in x 3.0 in assembled. Requirements are 7,000 each Pintle Mount Assembly, for use on the M122. The solicitation number for this acquisition is W52H09-04-R-0410. Estimated issue date is 16 Aug 2004. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the foll owing address via the internet: http://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to pe riodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or pro posal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that will be provided via the internet. Notes 1 and 22 apply.
