Description

Notice of Contract Action (NOCA) The Government intends to award a contract for Videodidact Training Instructor Controls System to Educational & Business Systems Inc, in Englewood, FL. This contract includes all necessary labor, material, equipment and services to perform the following: procure training for 33 students plus two instructors. The proposed contract action is for training on the Videodidact System. Each system is comprised of a touchpad with which the instructor is able to "control" training in the classroom, student audio headsets, control software, and peripherals. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1 entitled "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". Authorization to do this is contained under 10 U.S.C. 2304(1). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but rather a notice of the Government 's intent. The Government intends to issue a solicitation on or about 09 Aug 04. Award of this contract will be made on or about 15 Aug 04. Additional information may be obtained from the POC/Contracting Officer listed above. The Government will consider proposals from all responsible sources. See Notes 22 and 26.
