- DESC: The United States Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission (USIBWC) is seeking to make a single award to a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision for the acquisition, installation and implementation of an emergency generator specified by the following requirements: Liquid-Cooled Diesel Engine with Generator, 150 KW Rating Standby/UL2200 Listed, Permanent Magnet Excitation, 60 HZ/120/240 VAC 3-Phase, Digital/Analog Control Panel, Electronic Governor, Standard Outdoor Weather Enclosure (allows less than 100 dBA noise levels), 135 AH Battery x/Rack-Installed & 2 ?amp battery charger installed, 500 UL Mainline Circuit Breaker, Muffler Installed, 24? ? 233 gallon double wall base tank with fuel level sender, Pad type vibration isolators, EPA/CARB certified engine with 2 year warranty. Three (3) sets each of standard set manuals are required. Two (2) Automatic Transfer Switches, 600 Volt Contactor (W) rated at 200 amps, 1 ? 240 volts single-phase/ 1-140 volts three-phase, 3 pole construction, operating at 60 HZ, In-phase Adjustable Control, 7-Day programmable excerciser. In addition the following services are required: Start-up service, Installation of Generator, Automatic Transfer Switch, and all necessary equipment, installation of concrete slab for generator and temporary back-up generation for building while generator is being installed. This equipment will be installed at the USIBWC Mercedes Field Office located at 325 Golf Course Road, Mercedes, TX 78570. Estimated issuance date of RFQ IBM04Q0014 is August 11, 2004 and responses are to be received by 5:00 p.m. MDST on August 23, 2004. The work under this contract is to be completed in 30 calendar days from the date of issuance of Notice to Proceed. The estimated price range for this requirement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
