- Description
- The Supervisor of Shipbuilding C&R, USN Portsmouth (SUPSHIP Portsmouth), PO Box 215, Portsmouth, VA, 23705-0215, is seeking to identify potential 8(a) sources who have the capability to provide engineering and design services specifically related to the habitability spaces such as berthing, sanitary, messing, food preparation, and personnel services and all ship systems which directly support human habitation onboard U.S. Navy and other military vessels. This includes necessary supervision, personnel, materials, equipment and supporting electronic information resources as required to perform engineering, logistical and information technology services under the contract to support U.S. Navy Habitability Projects. Major task categories are as follows: Perform Management Feasibility Studies; Coordinate Habitability Projects with all Public and Private activities; Provide Program S upport; Provide Design Support; Methods Standardization; Provide Program Manuals; Maintain Secure Website; Maintain Habitability Data; Maintain Production Schedules; Provide Material Acquisition Support; Provide Material Control.
