Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required to renovate 3rd Floor Medical Research Building #21 at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. Contractor should completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing equipment. The project includes general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work. All work shall be done in accordance with drawings and specifications provided. The NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) Code is 233320. Completion time for this procurement is 425 days. The estimated cost range is between $2,000,000. - $5,000,000. The tentative issue date is 8-9-04. The Bid Opening Date will be 9-9-04. A walk thru will be conducted on 8-31-04. All request for bid packages must be submitted in writing along with a non-refunded check in the amount of $75.00 ? make check payable to ?VA Medical Center ? Agent Cashier?. Mail your checks to the following address: VA Medical Center, Attn: Debra Fisher (90C), University & Woodland Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19104. This project is for full and open competition, but it does include a 10% price evaluation for Small Disadvantage Businesses. There are a limited number of packages available.
