- Description
- This solicitation announcement is to notify interested parties of the FAA's intentions to procure the following Construction Services. The NAICS code is 236220. This announcement does not obligate the FAA to procure the services so listed for the construction of a Explosive Storage Area 30 foot by 60 foot prefabricated metal building. General Contractors are to perform 50% of the requirement/work. This building will be located in the Airport Operations Area (AOA)of the William J. Hughes Technical Center Atlantic City International Airport, NJ 08405. Work shall include the Construction of a 30' x 60' prefabricated metal building including contents, all utilities, septic system, water well, fire alarm system, HVAC, lightning protection, and electric. Overall period of performance will be 180 calendar days. A mandatory site visit will be held August 5th, 2004 at 9:00AM EST with all parties meeting at the Security Operations Center Main Gate. Drawings, Specifications, and Solicitation will be handed out to site visit members only. The cost to obtain Drawings, Specifications, and Solicitation shall be $100.00. Drawings and Specification available on CD (PDF Format). Only cashier checks or Money Orders will be accepted and are to be made out to the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center. Have a copy of check/money order if original was mailed when attending the mandatory site visit. Estimate range for this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Bid Bond shall be 20% of proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of contract price are required after notifcation of award. A Firm Fixed Priced Contract Type will be utilized. Subcontactor plan will be required with proposals. Security issues require companies to identify personnel whom will be attending the mandatory site visit. Proposals will only be accepted from site visit participants. All proposals are due by August 17, 2004 2:00PM EST. All questions must be in writing (e-mail) and submitted by August 12th, 2004 2:00PM EST. Anticipated date of award will be on or before Sept 01, 2004. All inquiries to be submitted via e-mail only.
