Description

The Metallurgy Division of the National Institute of Standards and Technology has a requirement for Standard Reference Material (SRM) Hardness Blocks at the Rockwell C scale hardness levels as detailed in the Request for Quotation (RFQ). It is anticipated that the RFQ for this project shall be issued on or about July 29, 2004, utilizing FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The performance period will be 90 days after receipt of order. The Government anticipates the award of a fixed price purchase order on or about August 20, 2004. The NAICS code is 334519 with a size standard of 500 employees. The competitive solicitation, all amendments, and any questions related to this procurement shall be made available via the internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The RFQ shall only be made available via internet at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the RFQ in order to be considered for award of any resultant purchase order. There is no written solicitation document available, telephone requests will not be honored, and no bidders list will be maintained.
