Description
This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is not a small business set-aside; any responsible source may submit an offer. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M67400-04-T-0769 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-11. The NAICS code is 334511. The agency need is for: ITEM NO 0001 QTY 2 Each Unit Price Total SEARCHCAM 2000 STANDARD PROBE-FFP-SEARCHCAM 2000 Standard Probe - Rigid Telescoping Probe (41? to 93? / 1m to 2.4m), integrated with Control Console, 180? servo Controlled Articulation, Acoustical Search Option - Color, Audio, and Xenon Illumination-Includes: Video Camera, Auto Centering and Position Feedback, Probe Selection, Pistol Grip Control, Video Monitor with On Screen Graphics, Sun Shield, Lanyard Strap (2), Batteries (2), Battery Charger, Storage Case, Optional Acoustical Search and 2 Way Communications PART NR: SC2-STD-C/A ITEM NO 0002 QTY 1 Each Unit Price Total SEARCHCAM BREACHING SYSTEM-FFP-The Searchcam ? Breaching. Needs to be able to rapidly bore 2" diameter hole can be rapidly bored in a precise location. 2.75 horsepower, 40 cc, 2 cycle gasoline engine and a diamond or carbide bit. The system operates at 950 rpm. Operation is facilitated by compact, comfortable support handles and a convenient throttle control and thumb operated safety switch. The high speed diamond bits are water cooled by attaching the pressurized water can to the provided water collar coupling. Test coring in standard construction grade concrete averages 3" per minute. The diamond bits also cut embedded steel reinforcement bar. The carbide bits needs to be albe to rapidly bore through most other construction materials such as wood and sheet metal. Light weight, highly mobile and truly portable. POWER TRAIN cosisting of the following: Two Cycle, 40 cc,2.75 Horsepower, 950 RPM engine with a Centrifugal Clutch. The power head weighs 25 Pounds (11.4 kg) and has a boring speed of 3" Per Minute - 7.6! cm Per Minute. The spindle shall be 1-1/4" x 7 Threads Per Inch and come with 2 Ea. - 2" x 17" Diamond Faced Thin kerf - close segment and 2 Ea. - 2" x 17" Carbide Faced bring bits and 3 Ea spindle extensions 12" - 30.5 cm. The maximum bit size will be 4" Diameter. The breaching system is cooled using a Pressurized Water Can made from Stainless Steel with a 2 Gallon Capacity.
