Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for constructing and installing three sliding metal gates with commericial duty slide gate operator and digital keypad. The contractor shall provide all equipment, materials and labor for the job. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside in accord with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 238210. The size standard is $12 Million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative issuance date is 8/04/04 with a closing date of 8/26/04. A firm fixed price purchase order will issued with a performance period of 90 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is 9/07/04. The RFQ documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov under RFQ 401814Q204. Paper copies will NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) http://www.ccr.gov in order to quote or receive an award. CCR registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number which can be obtained free of charge from Dun and Bradstreet at (800) 333-0505.
