- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Infrared Inspection System Requirement User requires a ruggedized hand-held battery operated infrared inspection system that features both thermal and visual imaging capabilities and allows for the recording and storing of images, data, voice, and text comments. The technology used must provide a system capable of high thermal sensitivity, superb image quality, high precision measurement accuracy, and solar reflection immunity. Images should be capable of being downloaded to personal computers and lap tops using USB digital link, RS232 standard serial connection, composite video and s-video. Images should be capable of being viewed on either a built-in color viewfinder or on a 4-inch LCD. In order to meet the requirements of the end user the system must have the following capabilities. Technical Specifications: Field of View/Min Focus Distance: 24 Degrees x 18 Degrees / 0.3 m Thermal Sensitivity @50/60 Hz: 0.06 Degrees C at 30 Degrees C Focus: Automatic or Manual Detector Type: 320 x 240 Uncooled Microbolometer FPA Detector Built-in Digital Video: 640 x 480 pixels, full color Measurement Accuracy: -40 Degrees C to +500 Degrees C Accuracy (% of Reading): +/- 2 Degrees C or +/- 2% Image Storage: Removable Flash Card and Built-in Flash Memory Thermal and Visual File Format: Standard JPEG Voice Annotation of Images: 30 Seconds of Digital Voice Clip stored with the image Battery Type: Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery Operating Time 2 Hours Continuous operation
