Description
This is an amendment to the original synopsis posted on July 16. the purpose of this amenment is to extend the following dates; RFQ documents were originally to be available on July 21, 2004 is hereby changed to be available on August 12, 2004. Th e due date for the RFQ is hereby changed from August 6, 2004 to September 1, 2004. SYNOPSIS IS TO READ AS FOLLOWS: The Oregon Army National Guard is in need to have the following requirement met. Contractor is to accomplish at a maximum a two (2) day on -site assessment utilizing Government furnished checklist of LAV equipment at three sites, Michigan (2 LAVs), Nebraska (1 LAV), New Mexico (1 LAV). After the assessment and utilizing the check list a maximum four (4) day maintenance period will be accompl ished at the same locations. The two (2) day assessment and four (4) day maintenance visits do not include travel time. Travel costs (commercial air), and Per Diem rates (Lodging and meals at the Govt. rate) will be paid by the Government to the Contract or. The assessment will include a listing of parts needed for the maintenance and any specific LAV tools that NGB possesses (NGB to arrange for delivery to the maintenance sites). If NGB does not possess the specific tools then the contractor will provid e those tools. The maintenance will be conducted at National Guard or military facilities and will be scheduled with the LAV State POC (point of contact) prior to the maintenance visit. Maintenance of LAVs will ensure LAV meets criteria for full servicea bility. Contractor is to provide only those technicians that are certified and authorized to perform the required work on LAVs. The cost estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. Contractor must be registered on the Central Contractors Registration data base (CCR) and must be Electronic Funds Transfer capable (EFT).
