- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued separately. The solicitation number is FA5000-04-T-0034 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. Elmendorf AFB requires Replacement parts for MB Company?s runway sweeper, Model 4600-FMD. The contractor shall furnish the following supplies and quantities and deliver them to Elmendorf AFB, FOB Destination on or before 29 October 2004: 32 Sets of United Rotary Brush Inc. Part # 29-CW265224WRF broom cassettes (BRAND NAME ONLY). The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated based on price and technical acceptability. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items with Alternate 1 with the offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
