Description

The Air Force intends to award FFP, commercial purchase order for non-personal services to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment transportation, and incidentals as necessary to provide preventive maintenance and remedial maintenance of Electron Beam Welder located at Tinker Air Force Base, Ok for a period of performance of 1 Oct 04 ? 30 Sept 05. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The estimated award date is 30 August 04. This is a 100% small business set aside. Only small businesses will be considered for award. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Note: an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendation to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
