- Description
- Licensed Plummer. The USDA Forest Service has a need for a licensed plumber. The Contractor shall furnish all transportation, supervision, labor, equipment, materials and incidental necessary to replace the water supply plumbing, replace selected fixtures, perform miscellaneous repair and clean up work as shown on the contract documents for the barracks on the San Joaquin Experimental Range. Work includes: removal of old water piping, installation of new piping, insulation, replacement of selected fixtures, repair of a floor in one bathroom, cleaning of selected fixtures, and related work. All work shall conform to the specifications and the drawings. This notice is not a solicitation or request for bid. To review the solicitation, and for information on how to submit a bid, interested firms may view the web site at http://www.FedBizOpps.gov and ?Find Business Opportunities and specifically view solicitation R5-04-20-046, then download the solicitation, and attachments. Firms should also view this site to observe any amendments to the solicitation. This is a pre-solicitation notice; the actual solicitation and attachments will be available at http://www.FedBizOpps.gov by August 9, 2004. A bid 20% bond is required. The successful firm must also provide performance and payment bonds. This solicitation is open to both large and small business firms. Bids are due by, and will be opened at 3:00 pm (local time) September 14, 2004. Interested firms must submit a firm fixed priced bid to: Forest Service, Attn. Don Bandur, 1323 Club Drive, Vallejo, CA. 94592. Clearly reference Solicitation No. R5-04-20-046 on your envelope. The Government will not accept proposals electronically or via FAX. The San Joaquin Experimental Range is located north of Fresno on Highway 41. The street number is 24075 Highway 41. Award of this contract is contingent upon funding. End.
