Description

The work consists of Shallow and Deep Draft Pipeline dredging of approximately 650,000 cubic yards of maintenance material from the Houston Ship Channel from Sims Bayou to the Main Channel, including the Upper Turning Basin, Main Turning Basin, and Brady Island Channel Turning Basin, and the U.S. Coast Guard Boat Basin; removal of th ree (3) large obstructions of unknown nature; and general debris removal. The Production rate, for this project is 300,000 cubic yards per month. The Small Business Size Standard is $17 million and will be advertised UNRESTRICTED. The plans and specifi cations will be posted at the Galveston District Website ONLY. Notification of amendments shall be made through paper or the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation . It is therefore the contractor??????s responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet after solicitation issuan ce at the following Internet address http://www.swg.usace.army.mil/ct. Contractors shall register on the Internet to receive a copy of this solicitation (CD-ROM). NO EXPRESS MAIL PROCEDURES WILL BE UTILIZED ON INITIAL MAILING OF THE CD.
