- Construction project is to extend the C-130 aprons total of 6,650 SM and C-130 shoulders total of 2,442 SM. Project will accommodate two additional parking positions, taxiway lane for aircraft movement, asbestos removal, demolition of existing Petrol eum, Oils, and Lubricants (POL) Inspection Station, and site work. Options items are for drainage coverage removal, additional storage area for POL Inspection Station, air compressor, high mast lighting, two comm. handholes, and for the complete constructi on of new POL Inspection Station and associated site utilities. This is an unrestricted procurement. To be eligible, the firms must have North American Industry Classification Systems Code (NAICS) 237310 among their approved NAICS Codes. Subcontracting goa ls are as follows: Small Business 71.%, Small Disadvantage Business 10.2%, HUBZone 3%, Women-Owned Small Business 10.6%, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business 3%, and Veteran-Owned Small Business 3%. Estimated cost of this acquisition between $1,00 ,000 and $5,000,000. Procurement may be delayed, canceled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, evaluation, and/or final award process. The tentative issue date of this solicitation is on/about 12 August 2004. The solicitation will be made avail able on/about 12 August 2004. The Government intends to issue this solicitation and all amendments as Web only through the use of the Internet. It is therefore the bidders responsibility to check daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. No additi onal media (compact disks, floppy disks, faxes or paper) will be provided unless the Government determines that it is necessary. Bidders may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments after Solicitation issuance date from the Los Angeles Dis trict Contracting Division Electronic Bid Solicitation (EBS) at the following Internet address: http://ebs.spl.usace.army.mil. Any prospective bidder interested in proposing on this solicitation must register to be placed on the plan holders list. If you a re not registered, the United States Government is not responsible to providing you with notification of any changes to this solicitation. Bidders shall register themselves on EBS to receive a copy of this solicitation and amendments. After registering, ea ch bidder for this solicitation should verify how his or her name appears on the plan holders list for this project and make appropriate corrections.
