Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; propo sals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal; the number is W15P7T-04-R-C020. The proposed effort is for a new, firm-fixed-price type contract for 78 John Deere Model TO4039 TF002 4-cylinder 30 kilowatt (30kW)(92 Horsepower (HP)) turbo diesel engines (National Stock Number (NSN) 2815-01-350-2208), and 22 John Deere Model T06059TF002 6-cylinder 60 kilowatt (60kW)(134 HP) turbo diesel engines (NSN 2515-01-350-2209) 100% Option w ill be required. Offerors must propose a unit price for each engine and the 100% option. Army Working Capital Funds (AWCF) funds will be used. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisit ion Circular 01-23. This procurement is a limited source acquisition under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(1), Only One Responsible Source. The acquisition is limited to CK Power Products, 110 Research Blvd, Saint Lo uis, MO 63132. CK Power is an authorized distributor of John Deere engines. NAICS Code 336312, Number of employees 750. Inspection and acceptance will be at Origin. Shipments are to be FOB Destination. Delivery is to be 20 each 60 days after contract a nd ship at distributors best possible per month thereafter. Ship to DODAC: W25G1U, XU Transportation Officer, DDSP New Cumberland Facility, Building Mission Door 113 134, New Cumberland, Pa 17070-5001. Packaging will be Military Level B. All unit packs, intermediate packs, and exterior shipping containers shall be legibly and durably marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129.
