Description

DESC: NSN: 5930-01-390-0692, Part Number 5-45-5169. This acquisition will be a firm fixed price,unrestricted, three-year Requirements contract. Previously advertised on solicitation W52H09-04-R-0197 which has been cancelled. The item to procure is a Switch, Flow for the M17 Decontamination Apparatus. LONG LINE DESC: Flow Switch is a source controlled item. Sources listed are Gems Sensors, Inc or Engineered Air Systems. The flow switch must be purchased from one of these two sources. Special Gover nment Packaging is required. FOB is DESTINATION. Estimated quantities for each of the three ordering periods are approximately 150 each ordering period. Proposed contract is unrestricted. The solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that c annot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information : CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the internet. Estimated issue date is 06 Au g 2004. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the fo llowing address via the internet: http://aais.ria. army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore in cumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receip t of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
