Description
Provide all labor, equipment and materials to renovate the Cascasde Community Center known as the CCC hereafter. Perform all work in strict accordance with Fort Lewis Regulations and Policies, this SOW and specifications. The Contracting Officer Rep resentative at the CCC will provide practical technical guidance to the Contractor; but will not serve as a supervisory office. Within established Army guidelines and regulations, the Contractor shall perform independently and keep the COR advised of prog ram status, concerns and issues. Install new 2 tiered platform flooring, install new ceiling sofits, install new ceiling grid and tile as needed, paint existing grid in areas that old grid is to remain, install sheetrock walls and paint, install new pendan t light fixtures, demo and install new carpet, deliver and install new booths, chairs and table tops and bases. a. Insulation in platforms and maintain R-value as deemed appropriated for sound. b. Wood on metal for all sofit walls as per drawings provided by the CCC. c. Reuse 9 existing lights over window tables and install new lights furnished by contractor over all other tables. Reuse existing electrical in ceiling for new light locations. d. New acoustical ceiling tile and grid in new sofit areas. Contractor shall paint remaining grid and install new tile. e. Paint all exterior walls. The NAFI will select color. f. Contractor's price shall include all labor and clean up of their work. g. Booth frames shall consist of hardwoods and plywood. Seats shall have gauge springs. Seat and back shall be foam and FR rated, and meet fire codes. Vinyl and fabrics shall be specified by NAFI. Lower kick base shall be black rubber base. h. Chairs shall be metal frames with standard powder coat finish. Seats shall be plywood with FR rated foam. All foam meet Fire codes. Vinyl or fabrics will be as specified by the NAFI. i. Tabletops shall be thick industrial grade 4.5 lb. Particle board. Backer on the bottom, and NAFIs choice of laminate on top surface. Hardwood edges shall be specified, and stained.. j. Table bases shall be black wrinkle powder coat with cast iron top spiders and bottoms. Columns shall be 3 inch diameter. k. All work shall comply with the Uniform Building Code and nationally recognized fire and safety codes.
