Description
ESC/PKO, Operational Contracting Hanscom AFB, MA 01731 is requesting proposals for Phase 3 of the Underground Electrical Distribution project at New Boston Air Force Station, NH. The scope of this project consists of providing all tool, labor materials, equipment, security escorts and transportation necessary to relocate an existing 12.46 Kv aerial power distribution system to an underground duct and manhole system identified as "Add Alternate 1 and Add Alternate 2" in the project drawings. The base bid on these drawings has previously been accomplished. The contractor will excavate for and construct approximately 1100 linear feet of 6 or 3-inch power duct line and 4-inch communication duct line complete with manholes. New power wire will be pulled and all the necessary taps, splices, switches, and transformers will be provided and installed. Switch over to the new underground system must be carefully scheduled and coordinated. The existing aerial service will then be removed. This project is located on a controlled Military Installation - New Boston Air Force Station, NH. The contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $500,000. The period of performance for this project will be 90 calendar days.
