Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F5XTPS04000500. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-24 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20030821. This acquisition is restricted. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB, CA intends to solicit and award a sole source, Time & Materials contract to Lockheed Martin Corporation, Fort Worth, TX. The NAICS Code is 541690. SIC Code is 8711. This acquisition includes the following Contract Line Item Number: CLIN 0001, Engineering, documentation and logistics support for NF-16D VISTA aircraft and general support fleet aircraft. Offerors are required to submit with their quote with enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements required in this synopsis. CONTRACTORS MUST COMPLY WITH DFARS 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (MAR 2000).
