Description

This requirement is being advertised as full and open competition. VA Medical Center located at 7305 N. Military Trail West Palm Beach, Florida has a requirement to establish a contract to renovate the existing 9th floor outpatient clinic. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building renovations, including demolition and removal of existing elements, and all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to renovate the 9th floor Outpatient Clinic. Work includes but is not limited to, rough and finish carpentry, millwork, building insulation, sealants and caulking, steel doors and frames, wood doors, finish hardware, glazing, non-load bearing systems, gypsum board, acoustical ceilings, ceramic tile, resilient floor tile and base, carpet, painting, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and electrical systems including power, lighting, fire alarm and telephone/data, as required by drawings and specification. The NAICS code is 233320 and the size standard is $28.5 million. Cost range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, drawings and schedules of the solicitation. The bid issue date will be on or about 8/6/04. A Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled for 8/18/04 at 1:00pm. Contractor?s must confirm attendance to Pre-Bid Conference by contacting the Contracting Officer at 561-422-6508. Bid Opening will be on or about 9/3/04 at 2:00pm. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATION WILL BE ACCEPTED.
