Description

Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) plans to establish four (4) to six (6) Basic Ordering Agreements (BOAs) with qualified construction companies to provide construction craftsmen and supervision for the performance of HVAC work as required at the ANL site for a period of one (1) year. Awards will be made to those HVAC companies submitting proposals most advantageous to ANL, technical, cost, and other factors considered. These BOAs are intended for short lead-time HVAC construction projects. Generally, the construction costs of individual work orders under the BOA will not exceed $50,000.00. However, the total estimated cost for the one-year BOA duration is one and one half million dollars. There is no guaranteed minimum dollar amount to be awarded under these HVAC BOAs and it will be at ANL???s discretion as to when these HVAC BOAs will be utilized. Options to extend the term of each BOA for two (2) one-year periods will also be included in the Agreement. For an individual HVAC construction project, each BOA contractor will be asked to submit a lump sum proposal based on construction specifications and drawings. ANL will then award a work order under the BOA to the low offeror. Typical work awarded through work orders issued under the BOAs may include constructing, repairing or replacing: ductwork; chiller systems; steam systems; air handlers; pumps, fans, piping and control systems.
