Description

Road 2341, M.P. 17.3, Storm Damage Repair project is for; geotechnical evaluation and recommendation for soil nailing; reconditioning roadway and ditches; roadway realignment; remove and replace damaged culvert; and installation of a new culvert including outfall protection at pipe outlets (including gabions); place riprap and geotextile; and constructing a mechanically stabilized earth wall with geocomposite sheet drains and soil nailing for temporary and permanent cutslope stabilization. Project is located on the Hood Canal Ranger District, Olympic National Forest. Geotechnical evaluation and recommendation must be submitted 30 days before the start of construction. Construction period is from July 15, 2005 to September 30, 2005. Davis Bacon wage rates do apply. Under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, this is not a small business set-aside project. A price evaluation preference will be given to HUBZone small business concerns. Project price range is between $100,000 to $250,000. Solicitation will be released on, or about, August 06, 2004.
