Description

Under the authority of FAR 6.302.1, the Northern Region Contracting Center, Fort Eustis, Virginia intends to make an award on a sole source non-competitive basis for The contractor must feed, house and train 550 cadets from 16 to 21 August and 450 Ar my Cadets and 50 Air Force Cadets (paid for by the Air Force) from 23 August to 28 August 2004. Emergency Medical Services must be available and a system in place to provide medical evaluation to a local hospital if necessary. Facilities must be self-con tained with amenities to provide health and comfort, feeding, billeting and training. Training sites should be within walking distance from the billeting and feeding area. The NAICS code is 721214, SIC Code 7032, size standard $6.0M. This proposed action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with the authority 41 U.S.C. 253(C)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302.1. A determination not to open the requirement to competition base d on responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the agency.
