Description

The VA has a requirement for janitorial cleaning services for the Phoenix Veteran?s Affairs Regional Office (VARO) located at 3333 N. Central Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85012-2402. The work includes night cleaning, furnishing of cleaning supplies, and day porter cleaning services for the VARO. The contract period shall be for a base period commencing October 1, 2004, with four additional one-year options, subject to the availability of funds. This requirement is set-aside as a Section 8(a) Direct Award to 8A contractors in Arizona pursuant to the partnership agreement between the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Department of Veteran?s Affairs, and competition is limited to 8(a) concerns only, and will be selected under source selection procedures - FAR Part 15 (Best Value) - where the importance of cost and technical selection factors vary. Past performance is an important part of the technical evaluation. This is a commercial item solicitation under FAR Part 12. The North American Industry Classification System Number (NAICS) for this service is 561720 and Business Size Standard is $14 Million. Classification Code S - Utilities and Housekeeping Services. The solicitation due date is August 19, 2004, by 3:00PM Arizona/MST. Copies of the solicitation may be obtained at no charge at the VA Business Opportunities System website http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov or http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ Dissemination is limited to electronic medium and the VA will provide no hard copies.
