Description

Grand Teton National Park has a requirement to construct a Search & Rescue Cache of approximately 1500 sq. ft. to be used by Mountain Climbing personnel. The building will be constructed of milled logs with a partially finished interior. The location is near Jenny Lake in Grand Teton National Park. Construction is expected to begin this fall with completion by June 15, 2005. Construction through the winter will be accessible only by snow machine or over-snow vehicles. The procurement is to be contracted utilizing "Best Value" evaluation and award may be made to other than the lowest price. Past performance and experience with Government Contracting will be the key factors in award. Prospective offerors are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the prospects of completing construction in harsh environmental conditions in a high cost area. Procurement will include both a dis-advantaged small business and HUB Zone economic factor in the award Specifications will be posted approximately August 1, 2004 for review and response. the NAISC for this action is 233320 with the size standard at $27,500,000. Bids will be accepted from all Responsible Parties.
