****ATTENTION***FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED to James Lang Contracting Officer, AMSAM-AC-LS-A. PRON: AX4F5356AX, NSN: 1620-01-465-9232, P/N: 1168100-507, NOUN: Shock Strut Assembly, Quantity: 20 each applicabl e to AH-64 Apache. Production Lead-time with First Article Testing is 330 Days after Contract Award. . Production Lead-time without First Article Testing is 220 days after Contract Award. Production Lead-time when Alternate II clause is recommended is 275 Days after Contract Award with delivery to New Cumberland 17070-5001. This item is restricted to McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company Cage 8V613 and BF Goodrich Company Cage 13002. The Government does not have adequate data, lacks rights to data, or both needed to purchase this part from additional sources. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the req uired item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo and looking under Qualification Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation however; the solicitatio n will not close prior to the date stated above.
